We are more than pleased to have Mr. Jacob Meehan back at the roof for a night of steamy House Music and Floor-Benders.
„Oh, do it again“ – The Chemical Brothers
Formerly of Chicago, Jacob Meehan got his start on the airwaves of WLUW 88.7FM, behind the counter at Gramaphone Records, and as a resident at Smart Bar.
Starting in 2011 Meehan and his friends (Harry Cross, Anthony „Ace“ Pabey, and Mister Wallace) made a lasting mark on Chicago’s music scene with an underground party called Men’s Room, which attempted to update Chicago’s stale gay scene — both in musical taste and sexual attitude, breathing new life into old pre-AIDS venues like The Bijou Theater and The Jackhammer Complex.
In September 2016 Meehan relocated to Berlin, where he and his partner Danilo Rosato (co-founder of Homopatik) program the monthly party Buttons, third weekends at About Blank. He is also apart of the organizing committee of Whole Festival.
