Starting his DJ career in the 90’s in San Francisco playing hop hop, atoping by for a longer period in Munich, with playing in Clubs and Bars like Holy Home – Bar Favorit – Erste liga – Registratur – Ultraschaall – Muffathalle, Mert Topuz since then has become an important figure in the Istanbul music scene. He is the music director, booker and promoter for the Kiki Club in Istanbul, he djs at Mini Müzikhol, Arkaoda, Bina, Babylon. He has also hosted live radio shows at Radio Babylon „world tonight“ at Standart Fm and „Tyger Tyger“. Mostly preferring to spin vinyl, Mert Topuz focuses on afro funk, disco, soundtracks and jazz.
