Ein echtes Highlight in unserem Konzert Kalender! Haoua und Azera Doga, bekannt als „Les Soeurs Doga“, sind Zwillingsschwestern aus Burkina Fasos Hauptstadt Ouagadougou. Das Power-Duo, das in seiner Heimat ein Begriff ist, ist seit Anfang der 2000er Jahre aktiv und überrascht mit seiner Fähigkeit, nahtlos zwischen traditionellen Idiomen, die meist in ihrer Muttersprache Mooré gesungen werden, und modernen, fast rap-artigen Gesängen zu wechseln. Sie haben die einzigartige Fähigkeit, die drängendsten Probleme ihres Landes, wie Terrorismus oder Hunger, anzusprechen und sie in aufmunternde und ansteckende Call-and-Response-Hymnen von 100 %iger Positivität zu verwandeln. Schon in 2024 waren die beiden mit Golden Pudel CEO Viktor Marek bei uns zu Gast und haben uns völlig vom Hocker gerissen. Vorab: Senør Platipus.

A real highlight in our concert calendar! Haoua and Azera Doga, known as “Les Soeurs Doga”, are twin sisters from Burkina Faso’s capital Ouagadougou. The power duo, who are household names in their home country, have been active since the early 2000s and surprise with their ability to switch seamlessly between traditional idioms, usually sung in their native language Mooré, and modern, almost rap-like songs. They have the unique ability to address their country’s most pressing issues, such as terrorism or hunger, and turn them into uplifting and infectious call-and-response anthems of 100% positivity. The two of them were already our guests in 2024 with Golden Poodle CEO Viktor Marek and completely swept us off our feet. Music selection before the show by Senør Platipus.
