fastmusic waren bereits letztes Jahr bei uns im *Wohnzimmer zu Gast und haben ihren ganz eigenen Sound bei uns auf die Bühne gebracht. Minimalistischer Pop, mit Einflüssen auf Mali Dessert Blues, mit stoischen Drum-Machines und einer wunderbaren Stimme. Eine Band von der noch eingies zu erwarten ist und die ihre Zuhörenden immer wieder verzaubert. An den Decks vorab mit gemischten Platten: unser Vamilienfa†er.

fastmusic’s first seven-inch single came out in March 2023 and was an instant sensation: „wow“ was made “track of the day” by the acclaimed German radio programs ByteFM and Zündfunk. Bela Fast hails from Leipzig, and his precious, minimalist pop is one of a kind. Influenced by the sparse but sparkling guitar licks of Mali’s desert blues, their eerie songs are propelled by the stoic sounds of vintage rhythm machines, lending the music a highly hypnotizing appeal, reminiscent of 1970es outsiders like Shuggie Otis or Timmy Thomas. The elusive performer’s other-worldly falsetto vocals seem to float in midair on top of this repetitive, psychedelic backdrop, and namely in concert, fastmusic have the ability to completely suck you into their unique world of meditative soundscapes.
