Surf’s Up! Seit 2024 hat sich Cane Cattivo dem Surf-Rock verschrieben – und sich bereits mit mehreren gefeierten Shows bei uns auf dem Dach den Titel als in-offizielle Haus & Hof Band erspielt. Die einzelnen Teile der Summe sind weder Unbekannte, noch unbeschriebene Blätter. Dicht am Dach gewachsen und bekannt aus Funk, Fernsehen und der ewigen Eckkneipe. Die Mitglieder verdingen sich zu Teilen bei „Potsdam’s asozialster Punkband“ Brutal Besoffen, ab und an mal ganz feinsinnig zwischen Blues & Folk bei Max Paul Maria & Band, an der Schießbude bei „8 Eimer Hühnerherzen“ oder aber in totaler Schieflage bei „Dauerwelle Wasserstoff“. Eine regelrechte Surf-Super-Group, quasi- & auch praktisch. Die Nummer fährt ins Bein, lässt die Puppen tanzen – und macht Laune wie noch was. Inzwischen ist die Truppe live vom Quartett zum Sextett mutiert und hat als Extra Reiner Hess von Jazzy Berlin am Saxophon mit am Start! An den Decks: allerlei Gefieder aus dem Vogelnest. Ein Abend wie tropisches Herrengedeck. Das Konzert beginnt gegen 20:30.

Surf’s Up! Since 2024 Cane Cattivo devoted themselves to Surf Rock and brought their very unique twist to it already onto our stage in *Wohnzimmer a couple of times for the Dusty Ballroom series. Inofficially they are already our very own in-house band – with strong bonds to the roof and a very long backstory within bands we hold dearly to our heart. Parts of Cane Cattivo are members of „Potsdam Best Antisocial Punk Band“ Brutall Besoffen, some of them show their tender side with Blues & Folk as members of Max Paul Maria & Band, their drummer blasts the beats for „8 Eimer Hühnerherzen“ – and let’s not forget the Schlager-Punk outfit Dauerwelle Wasserstoff! A surf-super-group so to speak. Let’s twist and shout, have too much beer and bring the heat for Cane Cattivo! The concert starts by 8pm!
