Zweiter Montag der Saison und wir starten in die Woche mit einem wunderbaren Konzert von Marlais. Das Projekt des Musikers Michael-Culme Seymour verquickt klassischen (Englischen-) Folk & Traditionals mit moderner Instrumentierung, Elektronik und experimentellen Ansätzen. Gemeinsam mit dem Multi-Instrumentalisten Can Nicols Winter bringt Marlais heute seine Songs auf die Bühne – ein perfekter Start in die Woche. An den Decks vorab , passgenau: Captain of None aus der legendären W58 und The Slow Brown Fox von Psychedelic Meltdown – beide Mutant Radio Residents und seit Jahren Teil des alternativen (Neuköllner-) Underground.

It’s the second Monday of the season – and we are kicking of the week with a concert by Berlin-based artist Marlais. His work is a blend of traditional (English-) Folk with modern Instrumentation as well as electronics and an experimental approach towards songwriting practices. Accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Can Nicolas Winter, he will present his work live on stage in our *Wohnzimmer. At our decks, a perfect fit: Captain of None from the legendary W58, as well as The Slow Brown Fox from Psychedelic Meltdown are spinning records and data before the show. Both of them got regular resident shows at Mutant Radio and are a vital part of the (Neukölln-) Underground scene since many years.
