Eine liebe Tradition ist seit einigen Jahren der DIY Kit Day! In der zweiten Mai Woche findet traditionell die größte europäische Messe für Musikelektronik statt – die Superbooth. Das von Herrn Schneider und Schneiders Laden (inzwischen auch ein Neuköllner Nachbar) ins Leben gerufene Event bringt internationale Tüfter, Soundfreaks, Synth-Lovers und vieles mehr zusammen. Da viele Händler:innen noch in der Stadt bleiben lädt der DIY Kit Day seit vielen Jahren zum Sonntag auf den Kranich und lässt die Lötkolben glühen! Gelötet werden sog. DIY Kits für Eurorack Modular Systeme – und dazu präsentieren mehrere Künstler:innen ihre Arbeiten und Modular Systeme im *Wohnzimmer und dem *Club „Hinter den Alpen“! Zum erste Mal findet der Modul-Markt mit gemeinsamen Löten auf dem *Ostflügel statt!
Hersteller vor Ort: ATOV, Befaco, Clacktronics, Error Instruments, Exploding Shed, Krach der Roboter, Modulove, Noisio, Shakmat, SynthLab, Timo Rozendal, Zlob und ein paar Überaschungs-Gäste!

DIY Kit Day has become a lovely tradition throughout several years now! The second week of May traditionally sees the biggest European trade fair for music electronics – Superbooth. Launched by Mr Schneider and Schneider’s Laden (now also a neighbour in Neukölln), the event brings together international noise wizards, sound enthusiasts, synth lovers and many more. As many dealers are still in town, DIY Kit Day has been inviting people to Kranich on Sundays for many years now, getting the soldering irons glowing! They’ll be soldering DIY kits for Eurorack modular systems – and several artists will be presenting their work and modular systems in the *Wohnzimmer and the *Club „Hinter den Alpen“! For the first time, the Modul-Markt with communal soldering will take place in the *Ostflügel!
Manufacturers in the house will include: ATOV, Befaco, Clacktronics, Error Instruments, Exploding Shed, Krach der Roboter, Modulove, Noisio, Shakmat, SynthLab, Timo Rozendal, Zlob and a few surprize guests.
