Zum Mittwoch bringt uns N.E.S.T.A. ein Konzert von Batila & The Dreambus is *Wohnzimmer!
„Deine Reise beginnt im Kongo, mit sofort wiedererkennbaren Rumba-Klängen und perkussiver Wärme – vertraut und zugleich neu. Im Verlauf der Reise wandert der Sound sanft weiter nach Westen: Spuren von Bossa Nova, subtile E-Gitarren-Echos und melodische Texturen, die Grenzen verschwimmen lassen. Es ist eine sorgfältige Verbindung aus traditioneller kongolesischer Rumba, Spoken Word und modernem Storytelling, gesungen auf Lingala, Französisch und Englisch – eine wahrhaft internationale Sprache der Emotionen.
Der Sound ist warm, rund und poetisch, zugleich aber auch hypnotisch – wie der Rhythmus eines Rituals, der dich langsam in eine stille Trance führt.“
