For more than four years now, Berlin Sessions X Klunkerkranich stands for high-quality live acts from Berlin, trying to shed some light upon all the various talents this town has to offer.
For this residency, we’re excited to welcome two bands with a truly international lineup spanning 8 countries: Ponte Pilas will showcase their infectious take on Rock’n’Roll and People Club will bring their sleazy, R’n’B-infused Synth-Pop with them.
It’s music with a view. We welcome you for drinks, good music and a spectacular view all over this beautiful town!
Our friends from Bulleit will join us again this time, providing homemade bourbon ice tea straight from the jar.*

Ponte Pilas
Ponte Pilas is ecuadorian slang for „snap out of it“ – a perfect description of Ponte Pilas’ energetic live shows. The band’s musical style is defined by loud guitars, driving rhythms and anthemic choruses. A keen ear for musical hooks and combination of classic and contemporary references ensures a broad appeal.

People Club
Formed in Berlin in late 2017, People Club will bring their sleazy, R’n’B-infused take on synth-pop on the rooftop. Hailing from the same dreamy multiverse as Mac Demarco and Yellow Days, the band’s ruminative and dreamy vocals coloured with sleazy rhythms, slacker rock guitar lines and hypnotic synths make up their recognizable sound.
