ROMEA project was born in 2014 from the idea of the dj and producer Alberto Tessarin – aka DJ LB. After participating in the IDA World Championship in Krakow, he decided to bring together a group of musicians to create a project that found inspiration in trip-hop, hip-hop, jazz and electronics.
The band, based in Italy, is composed by DJ LB on turntables, Paolo Garbin on piano, Alessio Simoni on bass and Antonio Zanellato on drums. Thanks to collaborations with different artists, the band’s live performances are enriched with visual projections that give deeper communication to the project, making each concert more „experiential“.
In 2015 ROMEA made their first self-produced EP titled „SS309“ and the 18th of February 2019 the new album “MADRUGADA” was released for the label (R) esisto Distribuzione.
