„I don ́t specify my music. I simply play and produce what I love.“ And that’s what Leipzig/Germany based Marcel Sterling alias Marc DePulse wants to tell us with his releases and DJ-sets: there is no box into which you must fit in because you are free in your mind to do whatever you love. Being real, being authentic, being a full time music lover. That means: go to bed and wake up with only music in your head. Whoever shed some tears while listening to emotional music can relate to what Marc is trying to achieve. It has to be “music to remember” and make a big impact. And that could be a catching melody, a groovy baseline, steady percussion or strong vocals. Marc has already connected a lot of that love with his music. In more than two decades represented by the strongest labels (400+ releases) and performing on the biggest international stages, Marc has established as a unique producer and DJ. After releasing his second artist album „Kontrollverlust“ on Einmusika Recordings in 2017, several EP’s and singles on labels such as SINCOPAT, Diynamic, Katermukke, Selador, Parquet have been released. According to his own productions, Marc is writing a column for the famous Faze Magazine, running the established label JEAHMON! Records and is working on his platform about the artists origins: “How I Met The Bass” is a storyteller podcast project which became a famous brand yet.

Describing the sound and sonics aesthetics of Robin Schellenberg’s music, one could tend easily to use bold buzzwords like „Melodic Techno“ or „Deep House“ – but there is something more to it: his productions oscillate effortless through a soft dystopian void full of sweeping build up’s: His tracks are drifting endlessly into an infinite sky, twisting from warm unisonos into harsher electronics, just to break down into well-tempered saturated up-tempo beats. It’s not Dark Techno by definition, but Robin often gets driven towards its aesthetic, without drifting into its cold industrial repetition. His tracks feel like a deep yearning for the horizon, pulling the dancer tenderly forward with soft melancholy. In his DJ-Set’s all of this falls into place, with tempi from 119 – 125 bpm, blending deep, dark and psychedelic elements into heavy sweeping bangers, to slowly lead the dance floor into a sweet and endless decay.
